The medical device manufacturer will help top obesity medicine experts implement professional body composition analysis in their practice
CERRITOS, CA (September 27, 2018) – InBody will attend Overcoming Obesity 2018 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC, from September 27 through September 28. The medical device manufacturer will showcase its InBody 570 to teach professionals how to use clinical body composition treatments in their practice. Complimentary body composition analyses and consultations will be offered at booth #407-409.
“InBody devices improve patient care by generating data to help professionals create and enhance the success of a customized treatment plan,” said Dylan Crane, InBody assistant regional manager. “Devices are backed by research and, help engage and educate the patient while tracking improvements throughout patient interventions.”
In 45 seconds, the non-invasive InBody 570 will provide medical professionals with:
- Body Composition History: See that a patient is retaining muscle mass while losing fat mass over time.
- Segmental Lean Analysis: Identify how many pounds of lean mass are in the arms, trunk, and legs separately to find imbalances that can compromise mobility.
- Visceral Fat Analysis: Learn how much fat is surrounding major organs, increasing the risk of diseases.
- Basal Metabolic Rate: Find out how many calories are burned at rest to guide nutritional recommendations.
InBody devices are medically validated, space-efficient and don’t rely on empirical equations to determine an individual’s body composition. Information regarding professional demos and other InBody products will also be available at the booth. All professional InBody body composition analyzers, including the InBody 570, are FDA 510 (k) approved.
