Basic Analysis InBody 370S

A closer look at muscle and fat

The InBody 370S goes beyond weight to measure how much lean mass and fat mass is in each body segment. These values are shown in a bar graph to assess if lean mass development is sufficient.

Use these values to monitor how your body is adjusting over time to dietary changes, fitness routines and lifestyle modifications.

Explore the Results Sheets

Each InBody Test will print out a full-page results sheet detailing the muscle, fat, and water values of the
user. The InBody 370S provides you with lean mass and fat values in each segment of the body
to give you proper assessment of body composition.

SEGMENTAL LEAN ANALYSIS

Identify how many pounds of lean mass are in each body segment through Segmental Lean Analysis.
Use this section to look for any imbalances between corresponding segments (ex. Right Arm, Left Arm).

SEGMENTAL FAT ANALYSIS

Use this section to determine how much fat is in each segment. Fat levels are sorted into under, normal and over ranges.

Validation's Paper

"This study examined optimal cutoff percentages of body fat (PBF) in Korean adults for predicting obesity-related CVD risk factors. CVD risk factors increased with PBF for both men and women, demonstrating the importance of determining cutoffs to help guide treatment/prevention of disorders related to obesity."

Kim (2011) – Optimal cutoffs for percentage body fat for predicting obesity-related cardiovascular disease risk factors in Korean adults.

How It Works

HAND ELECTRODES

Grab the hand electrodes and stand up straight. Place thumbs on the top of the oval electrodes and wrap fingers around the handle. Extend arms downwards and away from the torso, as shown on the InBody 370S's screen.

FEET ELECTRODES

Align heels with the rear, round electrodes and point toes forward so the feet align with the sole electrodes. Do not move until the unit provides new directions.

PRINTER

The InBody Result Sheet will automatically print once the 45-second InBody 370S test is complete. Use Lookin'Body Web to upload all InBody Tests to a computer for efficient data management.

Client's Story

“One thing I do find valuable is what is available in InBody, and we have engaged some of our therapists, athletics trainers, and physical therapist with, is the segmental analysis. Understanding what is the change of a particular segment of the body maybe what’s normal for them, what happens after an injury or maybe after a reintegration cycle and how we’re building the body back.”
