InBody can be found in the Medical Fitness Association (MFA)’s booth (#223) as part of a new partnership

CERRITOS, Calif. (November 7, 2017) – InBody will provide free body composition tests at the Athletic Business (AB) Show 2017. The conference will be held from November 9-10 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Tests and consultations will be given in InBody’s section within the Medical Fitness Association’s (MFA) booth, #223.

“InBody recently became a Best Practice Partner of the MFA. Our organizations have a similar mission: we both want to improve people’s well-being and help prevent diseases, rather than treat them,” said Calvin Lee, InBody regional sales manager. “The MFA believes in delivering medically-based exercise programs to more fitness centers. With InBody’s long history of applying medical technology to the fitness industry, we can achieve a lot together.”

MFA and InBody expect the partnership will help more gyms and fitness program operators understand the value of proactive healthcare and an overall wellness program, not just an exercise program has for its members.

Lee added: “AB Show attendees should stop by our booth to learn how they can use InBody’s medical technology to add value and make more money in their fitness business.”

In 45 seconds, an InBody 570 will be able to give AB Show attendees:

  • Body Composition History: Monitor user’s weight, muscle mass and percent body fat from previous tests to measure progress over time.
  • Segmental Lean Analysis: Identify how many pounds of lean mass are in each body segment (right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg and left leg) to ensure a patient’s changes in weight are trending in a desirable direction.
  • Visceral Fat Analysis: Measures the amount of fat surrounding organs. Visceral fat is associated with an increased risk of developing certain diseases.

Information about InBody professional demos will also be available at the booth.
