Conference attendees can learn about body composition applications in endocrinology at the InBody Booth (#27212), March 17 to March 20
CERRITOS, CA (March 15, 2018) – ENDO 2018 attendees can receive a free body composition test on an InBody 570 and a complimentary consultation in McCormick Place West in Chicago, IL. Testing will be held at the InBody Booth (#2712) March 17 to March 20.
“Body composition is a useful tool for identifying health risks for hormonal imbalances and inflammatory response markers in patients,” said John Ross, InBody regional manager. “InBody Tests provide a quick, non-invasive assessment of the patient’s condition. By monitoring changes provided by the InBody, we can improve treatment, which leads to better health.”
In 45 seconds, an InBody 570 will provide a printed Result Sheet that shows:
- Visceral Fat Analysis: Excess visceral fat is associated with hormonal imbalances and impaired organ function, increasing risk of metabolic diseases. Monitor visceral fat level to reduce risk for diseases like diabetes and endocrine disorders.
- Muscle-Fat Analysis: Muscle-fat imbalances are associated with increased insulin resistance and inflammation. Improve hormonal regulation and reduce health risks by assessing muscle and fat mass.
- ECW/TBW Ratio: The extracellular-to-total-body-water ratio (ECW/TBW), or edema index, can identify inflammation and water retention often present in patients with endocrine disorders. Assess fluid imbalances to reduce metabolic stress and regulate organ function.
- Body Composition History: Track changes in muscle, fat and water to monitor th e success of interventions and predict patient outcome.
The InBody 570 has been independently validated for its accuracy. Information about InBody professional demos will also be available at the booth.
