CERRITOS, CA (January 29, 2017) – Border Security Expo attendees can receive a free body composition test on an InBody 570 and a consultation in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. Testing will be held in the InBody Booth (#409) January 31 to February 1.

“InBody devices measure body water to determine the amount of muscle and fat person has in his or her body. This information can be used to help achieve optimal fitness levels,” said Mary Weyrick, division manager at InBody. “Devices can also determine muscle symmetry, identify swelling and help prevent injuries.”

In 45 seconds, an InBody 570 will be able to give Border Security Expo attendees:

  • Body Composition History: Monitor user’s weight, muscle mass and percent body fat from previous tests to measure progress over time.
  • Segmental Lean Analysis: Identify how many pounds of lean mass are in each body segment (right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg and left leg) to ensure changes in weight are trending in a desirable direction.
  • Visceral Fat Analysis: Measures the amount of fat surrounding organs. Visceral fat is associated with an increased risk of developing certain diseases.

“InBody devices are proven to be effective physical assessment tools and are used by several government entities including military bases, police departments and fire departments,” said Weyrick. “We’re looking forward to introducing InBody to a new audience that can benefit from our in-depth body water assessments.”

The InBody 570 has been independently validated for its accuracy. Information about InBody professional demos will also be available at the booth. GSA pricing is available.
